  The program’s purpose is to provide an accounting curriculum for those students whose primary interests lie in the area of accounting, but who do not plan to become a Certified Public Accountant.

  This program prepares you for a technical career in job fields such as computer network technician or microcomputer service and repair. It’s designed to prepare you to operate, install, diagnose, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain microcomputers, all while getting an overall understanding of computer networks.

• Microsoft Network Engineer (Associate)
  You’ll have the chance to get a basic understanding of computer networking concepts, with emphasis on network engineering practices, then you’ll learn to operate, install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain networks on Microsoft’s platform. You’ll prepare for the Network+ certification, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification, and the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification.
• Paralegal Studies (Associate)
  Paralegals can be found in courtrooms, corporations, insurance companies, governmental offices and banks, as well as in attorneys’ offices. Get the preparation you need from instructors with real-world experience. A law library and law computer lab are available on-site at Virginia College.
